This is our mission — not just words on a page, but the reason we show up every single day for the people who've been pushed to the margins.

Who We Are

We exist for the ones the world walks past.

Certain communities are consistently deprioritized — their needs deferred, their voices unheard, their struggles invisible to the systems meant to serve them. We're here to change that, one person and one neighborhood at a time.

Through direct outreach, community events, and genuine human connection, we show up for people who've been told — explicitly or implicitly — that their time hasn't come yet. We say: your time is now.

About Our Founder, Adam Castleberry

Adam Castleberry is the founder of First Step with Christ Foundation. He is a husband to his beautiful and amazing bride, Jessica Castleberry, and father to two amazing boys.

In March 2024, after twenty years of addiction, Adam overdosed on fentanyl and died in his living room. In that moment, Jesus met him — not as a distant idea, but as a living Savior who showed up in real time.

For the next two years his boys kept praying for the sick and the homeless. Adam told them, “If God is having you pray for it, He’s going to have you do something about it.” In May 2026 he stepped out in obedience to show his sons what walking out their faith looks like. That step became First Step with Christ Foundation.

Now Adam and many others show up for the forgotten the same way Jesus showed up for him.

This is why he gives everything he has — time, resources, and life — to reach God’s children and bring them home. Adam was alone in that very moment; now he and the others show up so nobody has to face this life alone.
